Abel House Bed and Breakfast

The Abel House was built in 1908 for William H. Abel, who was born in Sussex, England in 1870 and moved to "Monte" in 1892. He became one of Washington’s most distinguished defense and trial attorneys. His great love of books led to the naming of Montesano’s public library in his honor. The Abel’s and the subsequent owners, Betty and Greg Nelson, raised large families in the house. Now the Abel House is a Bed and Breakfast Inn where the current owners, Jerry and Beth Reeves welcome you to experience the ambiance and history of The Abel House.
